Investigation on commercial zeolite adsorbents for CO2 capture at various concentrations

摘要

Using a packed-bed adsorption column, the ability of 13X zeolite to capture CO2 from a simulated CO2-N2 gas mixture stream was investigated. CO2 adsorption capacity showed type IV adsorption isotherm as the CO2 inlet concentration is increased from 400ppmv to 14.5% (v/v). The Freundlich equation can fit the entire adsorption range with a R2 value of 0.984, which can be applied for the prediction of the CO2 adsorption capacity on the 13X zeolite over a wide range of CO2 concentrations.
