Discrete-time current controller with SVPWM modulation scheme for AC induction servo drives

摘要

In this work, we design and implement a discrete-time current controller with the space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) scheme for ac induction servo drives employing a transputer-based parallel control system. The current controller is a PI controller with feedforward back emf compensation in the d-q stationary reference frame. The back emf is determined based on the rotor flux model under vector control. A simple implementation method for the SVPWM scheme is presented. The current control and pulse width modulation scheme is implemented by using two IMS T800-20 transputers, in which the execution time of the overall control algorithm can be accomplished within 100 μs. Experimental results using an 800 W AC induction servo motor show the effectiveness of the proposed control method.
