Abstract

Two erbium fiber ring lasers are proposed and designed by using silicon microring resonator and saturable absorber to reach selectable single-longitudinal-mode output. Moreover, the corresponding 3-dB linewidth of 29.5 and 22.5 kHz are observed, respectively.
