Two-component molecular crystals composed of chloronitrobenzoic acids and 4-aminopyridine

The structures of two-component molecular crystals composed of 4-aminopyridine and chloronitrobenzoic acids were reported. The effect of weaker intermolecular interactions on the packing modes in molecular crystals was also studied. X ray analysis of the single-crystals showed that the ratio of the acid to base was 1:1 and the molecular pairs were connected through hydrogen bonds. All the crystals showed the formation of salts with the transfer of an H atom.
