Transmission through composite nano aperture and effects of surface plasmon resonance

Abstract

Utilizing the characteristics of surface plasmon polariton effect[1][2], we proposed a new design of metallic nano-aperture which exhibits higher power through-put (at 1.40x) and similar spot size (110x129 nm2), in comparison withthe proposed optimal performance of a C-aperture[3].
