Abstract

Results are presented on the synthesis of the comb-like polysiloxanes containing crown ether moieties on the side groups. As far as the authors know, this is the first example of polysiloxane with crown ether side groups. The polymers obtained were characterized by DSC and polarizing optical microscope. The thermal transition and thermodynamic properties of the polymers are presented.
