Simple Down-Conversion by Power Detector in a 2×2 MIMO V-Band Optical/Wireless System with Mitigation of Beating Interference

Abstract

We demonstrate a 58.74-Gbps V-band RoF system employing 2×2 MIMO technology and power detector for down-conversion for the first time. The proposed gapless method and the SSBI mitigation schemes achieve 45% capacity improvement.
