Abstract

A wavelength combiner based on a silicon-on-insulator (SOI) multimode interferometer (MMI) coupler and a Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) was designed, simulated and tested. The wavelength combiner device had a wavelength selectivity of 20dB.
