Abstract

Room temperature luminescence from ZnSe1-xTe x(x<1%) epilayers which are grown on (001) GaAs was discussed. Hydrogen passivation study was also performed. Results showed that the epilayer can emit light in the visible range of 5500-7000 Å at room temperature.
