Non-polar nano-regions in Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3-BaTiO3 ceramics

The dielectric properties of unannealed and annealed samples in Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3- BaTiO3 (PZN-PT-BT) ceramics were analyzed to infer the influence of para-electric BZN nano-regions. A large variation was found in the dielectric frequency relaxation and average phase transition temperatures of these ceramics. Results indicated that PZN-PT-BT ceramics were self-assembling nano-composites.
