Millimeter-wave Real Time Radar Based on Sliding Correlation Technique

Abstract

This paper demonstrates a real-time radar system based on sliding correlation technique. With the skidding correlation technique, the high-speed auto correlation signal can be transferred to low speed voltage signal. Based on this technique, a 35 GHz radar is realized. This radar use 400-MHz chipping rate, and have 0.375m distance resolution. The detection signals are transferred to a 30 kHz signal. Therefore, this system has the potential to applied to detect the real-time vital signal.
