Abstract
The possible isomers of trans-HSCO were studied using infrared spectroscopy. It was formed after the irradiation of an argon matrix sample containing H2S and carbon monoxide (CO) (or OCS) with an ArF excimer laser at 193 nm. Typically 600 scans with resolution of 0.5 cm-1 were recorded at each stage of the experiment. The results show that trans-HSCO have energy smaller than that of isomers c-HSCO, HC(O)S and c-HOCS.
