Abstract

Heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) circuits of interest in high-speed lightwave communication systems are described. These include frequency dividers, voltage comparators (data regenerators), 2:1 multiplexers (muxes) and 1:2 demultiplexers (demuxes), implemented with HBTs.
