High reliable dual-output gate driver for medium and large-sized LCD application

Abstract

This paper proposes a new gate driver fabricated on glass by amorphous silicon (a-Si) technology. The proposed gate driver expands an extra output to establish dual outputs per stage. It is efficient to minimize the border of layout areas. The output noises of gate drivers could be suppressed by two complementary and low frequency bipolar signals all the time, expect for the output signal generated. The negative voltage stress is applied to transistors and alleviates the threshold voltage shift.
