Abstract

Display technologies are discussed in the paper. Polymer-dispersed LC (PDLC) display devices are evaluated, and liquid crystal structures are considered. The paper shows the high birefringence, and high resistivity of fluoro diphenyldiacetylene and tolane LC homologs.
