Abstract

The excited singlet-singlet absorption spectra of s-tetracyanobenzene (TCNB) complexes with toluene and benzene were observed. The spectra were obtained using the re-absorption of the CT fluorescence by the fluorescent EDA complexes produced densely by means of the excitation with a giant pulse laser. The non-exponential decay characteristics, at the wavelengths of re-absorption, agreed quite well with theoretical expectations.
