Employing NRZI code for reducing background noise in LED visible light communication

Abstract

We demonstrate that non-return-to-zero-inverted (NRZI) code reduces the background optical interference effectively in low frequency band. The comparison between nonreturn-to-zero (NRZ) code and NRZI code was performed in a visible-light-communication (VLC) system.
