Abstract

Two single-phase AC voltage sources with consideration of switch utilization ratio has been presented in this paper. The purpose of this paper is to maximize switch utilization ratio under the limitation of dc-link voltage and the rated parameter values. In first, different topologies connected to the resistive load with ideal dc source are studied, and the filter inductance and capacitance are designed. Then, 60 degree phase difference between two single-phase AC voltage sources can satisfy the maximized switch utilization ratio by six-switch inverter. Eventually, all the algorithms are implemented in a DSP TMS320F28335 control chip. The provided simulation and experimental results show that the proposed concept can be implemented.
