Abstract

For achieving high quality HDR Spatial Modulated Display System, three steps : (1) Backlight adjustment, (2) Real-time image compensation, and (3) Color model mapping, have to be considered. Three novel methods were proposed for the three steps, and had been demonstrated on a 37" HDR-LCD with high contrast, wide color gamut, less image distortion, and low power consumption.
