Analysis of two-dimensionally periodic structures: Graphical methods and physical consequences

Abstract

A rigorous analysis is presented for the guiding of waves by a two-dimensionally periodic impedance surfaces. Numerical results are obtained systematically and graphical methods are employed to explain various physical effects that are peculiar to the class of structures under consideration.
