Analysis of corotron charging by Taguchi method

Abstract

A new statistical method for analyzing corotron charging in a xerographic process has been investigated. Four parameters of corotron charging and four conditions of each parameter are selected to analyze the effect of corotron charging. In the conventional method, if one parameter and one condition are selected in one turn, it needs 256 turns to complete the total run turns. If the L16 table of Taguchi method is used, it only needs 16 turns to complete the run test.
