Abstract
Experimental study on the airside performances of fin-and-tube heat exchangers having slit fin geometry was presented. Major conclusions of the study are discussed. Results show that the friction factors are relatively independent of the number of tube row. A correlation is proposed for the present slit fin configuration, the mean deviations of the proposed heat transfer and friction correlation are 8.04% and 5.44%, respectively.
