Abstract

We investigate the linear model tracking problem for systems with a constraint on the amplitude of the applied control signal. The estimation algorithm is Least Squares with Covariance Resetting. We explore how the constraint on the control input signal influences the tracking error. Furthermore, a necessary and sufficient condition is established to guarantee zero steady state tracking error for stable minimum phase systems.
