Abstract
An adaptive current scaling pixel circuit for a-Si:H TFT process has been demonstrated. The adaptive current scaling is achieved by insetting a small cascaded storage capacitor to the traditional pixel circuit without affecting the aperture ratio. The proposed pixel circuit is capable of shorting the programming time without sacrificing the power consumption. Hence, the proposed pixel circuit is suitable for the large size and high resolution AMOLED application.
