A web API aggregation service for mobile mashup applications

Abstract

In this paper, after observing that AQL lacks support in OAuth and data organization, we propose a Web API aggregation service consists of AQL+ to support OAuth authentication and AAS script to support data organization. Experimental results show that AAS is able to reduce the transfer size as well as latency of mobile mash up applications. In addition, experimental results also show that using AAS is able to relive the workload in development of mobile mash up applications.
