A radiofrequency CMOS active inductor was discussed. Simple cascode RC feedback compensation technique was used. It was found that the maximum Q-value of the active inductor is 1.2E6, inductance value is from 3.5 nH to 4.5 nH and total equivalent loss is in the range of 1.2 GHz to 2 GHz.
