Abstract

We present the design/experimentation of a medium-access control and processing system (MACOPS) for an optical packet-switched WDM network. MACOPS enables optical parallel headers to be efficiently received/modified via wavelength-time conversion, and achieves exceptional throughput/delay/fairness performance.
