Abstract
This work presents a novel learning system which applies a fundamental approach to model human reasoning, information handling, and decision making. This learning system largely rests on the notion that humans inherit knowledge and information from their ancestors. Based on this core knowledge, the proposed system starts to learn and updates its knowledge by itself. Therefore, a basic knowledge system must be obtained first. In addition to the knowledge system, the proposed system also contains a neural network for learning and a genetic algorithm for making decisions. Moreover, the proposed system implements an example of jump chess. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed learning system.
