Research Interests

Economic Sociology, Comparative/Historical Sociology, Organizations, Markets, and Work Development Sociology, Taiwan’s Social and Economic Development, Globalization and Social Change Her major research focuses on developmental sociology and economic sociology. Her current research on comparative studies of survival strategy and ethnic economy of immigrants and refugees, especially on overseas Chinese (Hakka people) and exiled Tibetan.
