In addition to enabling students to express themselves and communicate in foreign languages, the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures (DFLL) also focuses on the study of cultures and humanities, as well as literary and linguistic studies. DFLL strives to create a diversified curriculum. Upon graduation, students are prepared with the skills needed to enter into the job market or enroll in graduate programs. Our faculty is comprised of scholars recognized as experts in their fields; DFLL places emphasis on emerging literatures, film studies, syntax, semantics, and phonetic analysis.
