The College of Science (COS), National Chiao Tung University was formally established in 1979. Since its establishment, the College has been committed to carrying out leading-edge research in every field of science, offering challenging and rigorous academic programs, and cultivating the next generation of scientific leaders through holistic education. To date, the college has built strong academic leadership, and has been recognized as a notable and significant incubator for training potential and competitive scientists.        In keeping with the goal of achieving excellence, the College continues to encourage interdisciplinary studies, enhance international collaborations, and to empower our students with academic, professional and technical expertise that meet the challenge of globalization.
